POST-CAMINO BODY CARE FOR PILGRIMS IN FINISTERRE

BODY MOVEMENT

After the intense rhythm of walking the Camino de Santiago, the body naturally enters a physical cool down phase. Our goal is to support a smooth and balanced transition in the post-Camino routine.

This includes a gentle warm-up exercises in the morning, guided self massage, regular walks in nature, both individual or in group, and improvisational dance as part of one of the workshops. During this activity, we will follow the body as a mean of self discovery, expression and integration.

NUTRITIOUS FOOD for post-camino recovery

We serve 3 home-made meals per day, mostly vegetarian, to provide balanced nourishment and calorie intake. After days of fast food along the Way, at daur we like to cook things slowly and with love. Fresh vegetables and fruit are sourced locally from our favourite greengrocers in Carnota.

Warm tea, herbal infusions and water are always at all time in the kitchen.

In case of dietary requirements or allergies, kindly let us know in advance to accomodate you accordingly.

MASSAGE

Massage has always been one of the key pillars of the body care. No device can match the precision and sensitivity of experienced hand when it comes to easing body stiffness. A massage is not only a pleasant moment, it's an opportunity of true re-connection to the body. We use of herbal oil to enhance the sensory experience and therapeutic effect.

We offer traditional full body massage, foot reflexology (technique that consists in applying pressure to specific points of the foot corresponding to other parts of the body, such as organs) and moxibustion (a non-invasive technique aimed at reducing inflammatory pain and rebalance the body using moxa, "the burning herb" - a name given to the plant called mugwort).
