THE ACTIVITIES TO SUPPORT THE CAMINO INTEGRATION
Meditation
Guided daily practise to welcome the day by bringing our body and mind to the present moment. By coming home to our breathing, we calm down our nervous system and enjoy the quality of our presence. It is only in a state of calmness that we can recognise and understand the forces that are moving within.
Self-reflection activities
Dedicated space designed for quiet introspection and creative expression. Writing a letter to self, responding to prompts, drawing, or practicing Zentangle - a meditative form of drawing structured patterns - are some of the tools available to support a gentle personal inquiry.
Body movement
Gentle practise aimed at releasing tension in the body and bringing relief to the parts that might be fatigued after the walk.
This will include tools to stimulate the body awareness and autonomous treatment, like gentle stretching and self body massage that you can keep using once home.
Free time
It is the time of the day dedicated to recharge and reconnect through silence, time in nature, reading, writing, exercise, rest, or to explore the beautiful surroundings, reaching the beach or the mountain by a 20 minute walk.
During this time, it is also possible to restore the body by booking a massage.
Guided workshops
Theme-based activities, using tools such as writing, art, 5 senses exploration, expressive body movement or conscious walking.
The aim is to elaborate specific aspects or memories of the Camino through the use of various languages to unlock both our conscious and unconscious sides.
Lazy day
Inspired by the teachings of the zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, Sunday is devoted to the practise of being rather than doing. With no scheduled activities throughout the day, the lazy day is an opportunity to let the day unfold as it feels right in every moment.
For a deeper experience, we suggest you to spend the day in silence.
When the weather will allow it, some activities will be carried out outside, on the beach or on the Monte Pindo rocks, to allow the sound and the presence of nature to support us in the process even deeper.
